Job Description
Voltas IT creators of OBDeleven a leading vehicle diagnostic toolset used by millions of cars enthusiasts around the world!
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to establish and maintain ETL processes from various sources in our data warehouse.
- Collaborate with data and business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is readily accessible for analytics and reporting.
- Implement, optimize, and fine-tune existing data pipelines to improve data quality control, reliability, and performance.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Work on data modeling and database design to ensure that systems are able to cope with vast amounts of data.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements to our data infrastructure.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analyst, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in ETL, data modeling, quality controls implementation and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python.
- Solid experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases.
- Hands-on expertise with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with data governance and security best practices is a plus.
- Experience with orchestration techniques. (pvz Airflow, AWS Glue)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
- Previous team lead experience would be an advantage.
