• Installation, maintenance, and support of organization systems;
• Analysis and design of software build, deployment and release requirements for a project;
• Implementation of compliance requirements and requirements of IT operations (e.g. operating concepts, IT security, etc.);
• Administration of Linux, microservices, and web applications;
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers;
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions;
• Monitoring of infrastructure components internally and in customer projects;
• Quick resolution of any system failures and troubleshoots issues;
• Upgrades and management of company software;
• Research of upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts;
• Oversight of system performance and report generation;
• Development and execution of backup and recovery plans;
• 3rd level support for system landscapes.

Requirements

• Administration of Linux servers, cluster concept;
• Scripting (for example Shell, Batch, Phyton);
• Basics of Prometheus, Grafana or other monitoring infrastructure;
• Kubernetes basics;
• Understanding on network configuration tasks/firewalls.

Bonus points for:

• Cassandra cluster installation/management;
• MariaDB galera cluster installation/management;
• ELK clusters installation/management;
• Kafka cluster installation/management;
• Load balancers understanding;
• High Availability architecture knowledge;
• Python language knowledge;
• Teamwork.
