Job Description

Our client - BetGames is an international developer and distributor of interactive and innovative gaming products for the betting business. BetGames combine traditional betting with popular lotteries and table games and are simple enough for players to easily catch on to the idea. More recently, started reinventing live entertainment by launching a brand new live sports vertical. BetGames became a pioneer in 2012 and has been increasing in popularity ever since thus becoming a market leader, which services are used by online and land-based betting operators worldwide in more than 45 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Instill best practice within an agile delivery team;
  • Guide the team in making decisions that are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives;
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment;
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team, exploring new technologies and product quality;
  • Be an escalation point for other developers;
  • Lead/contribute to discovery work where new technology or features are to be deployed;
  • Plan the resources, workloads, priorities and outcomes;
  • Take on more complex development tasks.

Requirements

  • Agile Team leadership experience (including recruitment, coaching amp; mentoring, career development and performance improvement);
  • Proficient in TypeScript and its advanced features;
  • Strong expertise in React; Experience with other Front-End frameworks as a bonus;
  • Knowledge of best practices for Front-End code testing;
  • Mastery of CSS, with a focus on responsive and scalable designs from Figma;
  • Proven track record of debugging and optimizing complex Front-End applications;
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to align technical strategies with business objectives;
  • Ability to perform high level design and detailed design analysis and create relevant documentation;
  • Desire to instill development best practice in the Software Delivery Lifecycle;
  • Ability to challenge - from estimates to code reviews;
  • Excellent communications on both technical and non-technical subjects;
  • Out of the box thinking.
