As a Legal Counsel, you will take a part in building a brand and a product. If you want to build things and see how they perform in the real world join our team!

What you will do:

• Create, review, and improve various internal legal documents like terms and conditions, insurance documentation, business partnership contracts and licensing agreements.
• Make sure all company policies comply with jurisdiction dependant laws and rules.
• Provide legal advice on a variety of issues that the company may face.
• Handle legal matters related to intellectual property, employment, privacy, and corporate governance.
• Stay up to date on changes in the laws that might affect the company.
• Help with keeping data private and adhering to GDPR and other privacy laws.
• Support the teams with legal problems by looking into and understanding different legal issues and risks, and giving smart advice to make sure everything follows the rules.
• Work with outside legal experts when needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience (experience with the tech sector would be an advantage).
• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate law, contract law, and compliance.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as the sole legal counsel in the company.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, including the identification of gaps in legal processes and the initiative to address and resolve them.
• Command in written and spoken English.
