Our Legal team is a team of attentive professionals who deal with a variety of issues, including privacy, intellectual property, employment, compliance, mergers, and acquisitions. As legal business partners, we ensure the quality and efficiency of the organization.
You will be a part of a legal team working with all Nord Security’s business products (NordLayer, NordPass Business, NordLocker Business). You will be acting as a product counsel and your area of focus will be B2B privacy. You will be a part of Nord Security's legal department, but will report directly to the Lead Product Counsel (B2B).Main Responsibilities
- Providing daily legal advice on various commercial and privacy legal issues for B2B products;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial B2B agreements (both direct and indirect sales, as well as vendor related);
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating data processing agreements and other privacy-related agreements;
- Supporting and contributing to the Nord Security privacy compliance program;
- Advising on the current features of B2B products as well as on new initiatives, providing business-oriented practical advice and risk mitigation strategies on their compliance with relevant legislation across multiple jurisdictions;
- Being a legal problem solver for the business products’ teams, researching and evaluating different legal issues and risk factors, and providing strategic advice to teams to ensure compliance.
Core Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience (experience with the tech sector would be an advantage);
- Master’s degree in Law;
- Good understanding of commercial and privacy laws and a proven ability to provide and coordinate legal guidance across a wide range of legal issues in various jurisdictions;
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements (experience with different types of sales and privacy agreements would be an advantage);
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and business-mindedness;
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
Bonus Points For
- Knowledge of IP/IT laws and/or privacy certifications would be an advantage;
- Experience implementing a privacy program and working on privacy-by-design initiatives would be a strong advantage.
Salary Range
- Gross Salary3310 - 4960 EUR/Month.
