ABOUT THE ROLE
Revolut is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure that the Revolut communication with the regulators is transparent, compliant and efficient. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be working in our Vilnius office with a team of Regulatory Compliance Managers focusing on different regulatory fields and will coordinate a team of Regulatory Compliance Managers working in different Revolut branches across Europenbsp;nbsp;
Regulatory Affairs sits with Risk as a second line of defence service team and is responsible for maintaining and developing transparent relationships with our regulators, this means responding clearly and on time to regulatory enquiries as well as keeping on top of regulatory developments and helping teams to implement regulatory change.nbsp;nbsp;
As a Regulatory Affairs professional, you'll support and strengthen Revolut’s regulatory relationships and help shape our strategy for managing these relationships as Revolut continues to grow. You will assist the business in developing regulatory communications with appropriate tone and accuracy as well as maintaining the teams’ internal processes.nbsp;
Strong problem solving, project management, operational process and analytical skills are a must as is experience with the Bank of Lithuania and the regulatory inspections process in financial institutions. This role will demand high-levels of energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a growing and changing environment.nbsp;
Salary: 4000 -6000 Euros (Gross Monthly)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Coordinating all communication with the Bank of Lithuania and other oversight institutionsCoordinating a team of other Regulatory Compliance Managers / Regulatory Affairs Managers across the Revolut EU branches.Communicating clearly with the regulators and the business including distilling complex information into smaller, digestible chunksKeeping our regulators up to date with new products and initiatives and other ad hoc updatesWorking with the wider Risk and Compliance team to share communications during an incidentnbsp;Preparing management reports and Management Information, in particular for regulators meetings, internal committees and the Board.nbsp;Delivering training and updates to the product teams, and wider business on regulatory requirements and changesBuilding processes and documentation for the team in a scalable and sustainable waynbsp;Being a champion for conduct and compliance across the businessOther ad hoc tasks as required to support the team
WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEEDnbsp;nbsp;+5 years of experience working in compliance or risk function at a regulated financial services firm or a Fintech or at a regulator in Lithuanianbsp;Experience in leading teams, managing tasks, coaching and inspiring peopleExcellent stakeholder management, communication, project management and negotiation skillsKnowledge and experience of best practice in Lithuanian and regional financial institutions regulationsnbsp;Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolutionDeep knowledge of the Lithuanian and EU regulatory environment and key regulatory compliance regimes.Understanding of payments systems and markets with a focus on technology and mobile applicationsnbsp;nbsp;Fluent in English and LithuanianA Bachelor’s degree in law, with a relevant Master’s Degree preferred
