Yapily uses an open API, powering applications behind the scenes, to seamlessly connect and securely access financial information. We enable companies to access financial information to enrich the customer experience in Banking, Lending, Payments, Accounting and Money Management.
In April 2020, we raised $13m in Series A funding, this is an incredibly exciting time to join the business as we begin to look towards launching internationally and are building the marketing team from the ground up, with huge scope for autonomy and influence.
We are looking for a Frontend Developer who can help us migrate from our existing frontend framework Vaadin. You will be involved in choosing a new framework for our frontend. This is a great opportunity to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with our core development and software design teams to update the external and internal web tools to make them more efficient. The frontend developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to UI design issues to help make the experience more visually appealing and enhance usability.
Equally important to the specific development skills is the ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.
Responsibilities include:
- Support, maintain and build customer-facing applications, that can be web or mobile applications
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Building and maintaining company style guidelines
Requirements
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, Javascript(ES6) or Typescript
- Comfortable working with a javascript framework (React, Vue)
- Experience with server side rendering (Nextjs, Nuxtjs)
- CSS preprocessor (SASS, LESS)
- TDD (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Enzyme)
- Best coding practices
Desirable:
- One of these would be great: Vaadin, Android Java or Kotlin, Flutter, web frameworks
- Solid understanding of OOP principles
- Nodejs
- Cypress or Puppeteer
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience
- 3+ years’ web development experience required
- Proficiency with Javascript best practices and ideally with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages
- Able to bring experience and ideas that will help Yapily deliver highly efficient and reliable services
The salary for this position based in Vilnius, Lithuania is between 4,900 - 5,2500 euros gross per month.
