Currently, we are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to operate and manage cloud platforms in our Lithuanian Vilnius Office. If you are experienced in the above, ambitious and ready for challenges, do not hesitate - apply :)


What you'll do at CLOUDEON

A Cloud Support Engineer helps customers navigate the operational challenges of cloud computing, assists both internal and external customers, implements automated ITSM processes and focuses on improving and providing significant additional value. Together with Cloud Automation and platform Engineering teams responsible for proactive configuration changes to minimize operational disruptions delivered via infrastructure-as-code, Azure Pipelines, or direct configuration in the portal. The cloud support team is involved in release planning and Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) planning to provide feedback and prepare for operational requirements.

Work schedule: work in shifts 24x7.

A valid working permit for the EU is mandatory.

Job?duties

  • Operate and maintain cloud platforms
  • Perform monitoring of systems for errors, failures and capacity issues
  • Perform patching
  • Detect, solve and escalate incidents to appropriate support teams
  • Initiate the Incident Management process and coordinate Major Incidents as well as carry out other ITSM processes
  • Establish and update documentation and procedures
  • Address ideas and suggestions for improving solutions and platforms

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and writing capabilities
  • Open and collaborative with strong focus on client and client experience
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting
  • ITIL knowledge


Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies
  • Strong foundation in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), including performing backups, upgrades and patching
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure topology, including public and private cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage
  • Knowledge on Cloud Providers (at least one of: Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Experienced with describing operational processes and implementing them
  • Familiar with monitoring tooling
  • Experienced in a similar role
