Job Description

The Strategy and Financial Planning Analyst will join a well-established and growing team, have significant exposure to corporate development projects and help build a modern and professional Finance function. Our client is seeking an innovative, creative, analytical and strategic thinker who can demonstrate passion about the future of our businesses. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems and working alongside others, can take direction but is also proactive, ambitious as well as willing and able to work under their own initiative. The role will involve significant exposure to Intrum’s CFO and Group Finance Management team and therefore ability to establish credibility in working with senior management is essential.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual investment portfolio budgets, regular forecast updates and strategic initiatives plan for the business under the direction of the Group Strategy and Analysis Director;
  • Ownership of the month-end process and responsibility for delivering on-time business reporting packs;
  • Help update and develop financial models and prepare outputs of analyses assessing financial impacts to the company; Provide support during large projects instrumental for Intrum’s growth agenda in relation to strategic markets;
  • Use internal systems for data gathering, preparation of reporting packages for senior management and development of new internal performance reports;
  • Draft presentation materials for Group Management and Board meetings as well as external investors.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar;
  • Some years of experience ideally in consulting, banking or financial sector;
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
  • End to end transaction experience;
  • Strong English language skills, both verbal and written;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Hard working, motivated, ambitious self-starter and solutions-oriented;
  • A keen desire to learn, develop and be continuously challenged.
