About the project
We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer for a project enthusiastic ed-tech startup seeking to revolutionize digital education. Your task will be to contribute to the future of education through custom interactive content by developing a custom personalized learning platform for 5-12 grade students and providing educational Mathematics content in the form of interactive videos and quizzes.
By finding the gaps in students' knowledge the solution seeks to create personalized learning pathways to fill them in. The innovative product is already in high demand by Lithuanian schools, making this a rare opportunity to partake in the transformation of the educational system.
Main responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to build an application using React and Node;
- Architect, build, and maintain excellent React and Node applications with clean code;
- Make an impact on engineering strategy, roadmap, and the overall way how we build and run heavily loaded apps;
- Work in an Agile team, transforming user stories into functional applications;
- Work remotely from anywhere in the world.
Technological stack:
Front-end - React.js, Redux, SCSS, Next.js, tRPC;
Back-end- Node.js (Fastify), Prisma, Redis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with React;
- Ability to work through new and difficult React and Node issues and contribute to libraries as needed;
- Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React and Node applications;
- Maintain good code quality and standards. Perform code reviews and unit tests.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Prisma and PostgreSQL;
- Experience with tRPC and Fastify;
- Experience with microservice architecture solutions.
