In this position, you will organize the work of SAP Developers team which consists of ABAP developers in order to achieve goals related to SAP new functionality implementation, support users, and provision of sustainability of the solution.

You will:

• Lead and build SAP Development practice
• Set up code validation code practices and coach internal team
• Review and revise technical designs to meet ABAP project requirements.
• Recommend process improvements
• Provide technical and functional guidance to the team members
• Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements
• Collaborate with functional owners, architects, and SAP functional consultants to develop dynamic and flexible systems
• Assist in unit testing of ABAP programs
• Review program codes and correct ABAP program errors, maintain and update existing program codes as needed
• Develop technical specifications and estimations
• Advise, develop, and lead the implementation of Non-standard functionality solutions (WRICEFs)
• Manage and mentor the team of ABAP Developers
• Responsible for the ABAP developers' performance and growth
• Ensure timely distribution of work to the team
• Responsible for the resources demanded for the team, recruitment, and onboarding
• Set the goals and ensure the team meets them
• Ensure code quality and efficiency
• Contribute to Service quality for SAP processes
• Responsible for developments using SAP ABAP programming languages and related workbench tools and frameworks
• Organize code reviews written by other programmers
• Take preventive action to understand the root cause of the issue and provide a solution
• Working with other functional managers to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to meet project deliverables
• Striving for continuous improvement

Our expectations:

• Strong experience in ABAP (5+ years), S4 HANA
• Proficient in ABAP coding, and ABAP workflow
• Experience in BOPF as a high advantage
• Strong experience in repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt new requirements, writing, analyzing, reviewing, and rewriting programs using workflow charts and diagrams, and applying knowledge of SAP ABAP capabilities, subject matter, symbolic logic, and writing or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users
