Group Internal Auditor

Job Description
ME investicija is an investment house managing such companies as UAB Girteka Logistics, one of the largest transport and logistics companies in Europe, and UAB SIRIN Development, a commercial real estate developer. The company currently looking for an experienced Group Internal Auditorto become a part of a highly professional team and help to create the value of the group's businesses and improve corporate operations by applying a systematic and disciplined approach to the efficiency of risk management, control and business management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build internal audit procedures
- Work closely with Top Management and Board to set up an annual internal audit plan
- Organize and conduct planned and unplanned internal audit engagements: analyse and evaluate the results, identify opportunities for improving operational processes and formulate recommendations regarding corrective measures to be implemented
- Periodically monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
- Work closely with representatives of audited business areas in preparing possible solutions to reduce risks and increase efficiency
- Advise colleagues in audited areas and demonstrate the benefits of effective processes and risk management
- Be an active ambassador in strengthening Group internal control and creating internal audit activities
Candidate should have:
- Top university degree in economics, law, finance, business management or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in internal or external audit
- Sound knowledge of international internal audit standards and procedures, as well as internal auditor's code of ethics and ability to apply knowledge in practice
- Fluency in English
- Outstanding communication and conflict management skills
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills; ability to systematize, summarize information and provide conclusions
- Diligence and attention to details
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certificate would be considered as an advantage

Base monthly salary: 6000 (before tax). Specific salary and bonuses are offered based on work experience, competence, and compliance with other job requirements.
