Flight Data Analysis Specialist (part-time)

• Perform day to day flight data analysis including event validation and data review using the Airline provided software tools;
• Ensure data protection and confidentiality of the analysed data;
• Ensure continuous and accurate run of FDA software;
• Monitoring of any FDA data loss or unreliable FDA data;
• Assist with in-depth analysis for any significant event identified or notified;
• Assist in creating monthly trend reports;
• Maintain event criteria list;
• Perform statistical analysis and mathematical derivations of trends;
• Report regarding analysis and evaluation through FDA data to utilize safe and effective SMS;
• Liaise with FDA software providers;
• Assist with event investigation when required.

Requirements

• Higher education in aviation, flight technology, engineering, or related area;
• Previous work experience, in air carrier operations; safety and compliance monitoring or maintenance or operations or a combination of these areas is considered as an advantage;
• Flight data analysis and/or aviation risk management experience is considered as an advantage;
• Knowledge of IOSA/EASA requirements applicable for flight data analysis is considered as an advantage;
• Excellent computing skills, particularly MS Office applications;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
• Ability to work autonomously;
• Strong time management and organisational skills;
• 500 flight hours on one of the Airline A/C types (optional);
• Be an active pilot involved in day-to-day operations (optional);
• SMS knowledge.
